Red Cedar Farms is excited to welcome all our guest to a fun, safe and enjoyable experience so we kindly ask that everyone follows the rules at all times. We would hate to have to tie you up or put you to work mucking stables.

Please help keep Red Cedar Farms free from debris or distractions that could harm or scare our animals. Please don’t bring anything that they could eat or choke on or any items that may cause loud scary noises.

We do not allow smoking on the farm property.

Only trained service dogs are permitted on farm property.  SEE FARM FAQ.

Do not approach the Bison fence at any time because Bison are wild animals and they can be easily provoked if they feel threatened. Also the fence surrounding them is electric and will give you a sever shock if touched. Please keep your kids away from the fence since they likely will not read the warning signs.

Natural barriers including fencing of any kind between you and the animals or any non-public areas of the farm are there to protect the animals and you from harm. Do not enter non-public areas without farm staff present.

Be nice to the animals and please do not scare, chase, ride, hit, harass or tease them. Never throw anything at the animals. Anyone found doing so will be asked to leave the farm after we let the rabbits have a go with you. All’s fair in love and war.

Animals are on special diets and outside foods can permanently harm the animals. ZOO FOOD is available for purchase if you’d like to feed them. Always properly wash your hands after feeding. It is important to use a flat hand when feeding the animals. Animals approved for hand-feeding include goats, sheep, ducks, llamas and alpacas. Do NOT feed horses, donkeys, pigs or rabbits from your hand as these animals can and will bite.

All animals naturally carry diseases that can make you sick. Thankfully, there are things you can do to protect yourself and your children from them. Always wash your hands after being around animals. A hand-washing stations can be found near the Petting Zoo and Sanitation stations in many locations around the farm.

Properly wash or sanitize any personal belongings such as shoes, strollers and clothing to kill germs that might have been transferred through contact with animals, their bedding or surroundings. Always check for ticks after you’ve been outdoors.

Be sure to wash often when playing with animals.

It takes lots of equipment to run a farm and while they may look like fun they can be very dangerous so we ask that Guests stay away from and off of any equipment on the farm unless it is under adult supervision and farm approved.

We accept Cash and Cards and Pre-Approved Business Checks Only.

Red Cedar Farms offers ticket options under the BUY TICKETS tab above. You can purchase tickets at the gate but they can cost more than the in advance online tickets. Online ticket sales will not be available on the day of the event so get them early. Total tickets available for the event is limited so if we sell out online then we will not have tickets at the gate.

Red Cedar Farms does not offer refunds for ticket purchases however in the case of bad weather where we are forced to close then we will hold this event the next day. Please check our website, facebook or instagram for any weather related changes. If the entire weekend is rained out then we will run the Festival the very next weekend and your tickets will automatically transfer to the Saturday or Sunday of the following week.

If you still have your wristband or hand stamp from that day then you will be allowed back in the farm at no additional charge. If you remove the wristband then you will need to purchase a new entry pass.

The Farm is open year round and from March through December we feature several Events annually that we hope you will come and enjoy. Remember that the Farm Store is open year-round except when we close for the Christmas and New Year Holiday (Dec 23 – Jan 2).

The safety of all humans and animals are our primary concern so any notifications regarding bad weather closings will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Please check before you come if the forecast for our area is subject to any bad weather including but not limited to Sharknados. The Farm will remain open during periods of light scattered rain unless there is a threat of severe weather. If we do close due to a bad weather event then you are able to use your tickets on the next open date. We do not issue refunds.

RAIN POLICY: During periods of bad weather some or all activities may be shut down temporarily for your safety. The Farm does not offer refunds for ticket purchases but will issue a rain check if we are forced to close the farm that day. Please note that just because it is raining where you are does not mean that it is raining at the farm and if you chose to not come when we are open for business then no rain check will be issued. Your tickets are good only for the date they are issued for.

The Farm has several portable restrooms including handicap accessible units and hand sanitation units. All facilities are stocked and serviced regularly to ensure cleanliness.

Sure, pack a lunch and have a picnic anytime or sit at any of the complementary tables as available. During any of the Festivals or Events we will have food options plus snacks available at the event for a fee. No holding tables for groups or parties. We ask you to help us keep the farm clean from debris by disposing of all trash after eating. We’re easy…just clean up after yourselves.

We love animals but only trained service dogs on a leashed are allowed on the farm. Personal comfort or emotional support animals do not qualify as service dogs under ADA standards and are not permitted. Note that they are not allowed to enter any animal petting area. You must pick-up after your animal around the farm to ensure all guests are safe from Fido’s little land minds. If your animal harms any guest or farm animal then the owner will be held liable for all damages and costs and the animal owner by bringing their animal automatically holds the Farm, its owners and all employees harmless from any action taken by the injured guest. And if you bring a service animal it is your responsibility to control and clean up after them.

We do offer groups reduced rates for some events as long as tickets are purchased online in advance.

If you have a picture ID to verify your active status then we do offer a discount for you and your immediate family (IE. you, a spouse and your kids only) Present your ID at the gate to get your tickets and discount. If you want to purchase them online then you will need to call the office and email or text a copy of your ID to receive a one time discount code to be used online.

We do rent little hand pulled wagons during some events but have a limited supply so feel free to bring your own. Wagon rentals are $5. Damage to wagons will result in a $200 fee. Personal strollers or wheelchairs with larger wheels do better on the natural terrain of the farm.

Please note that we are a working farm with typical farm terrain so if you have mobility concerns that prevent you from navigating grass, dirt, mud and gravel then we would caution you in advance so you are not disappointed. There are no paved areas. Additionally, you should be prepared to encounter mud and an occasional puddle especially if there has been recent rain. We don’t control the weather or the conditions it produces and must work with what the Good Lord gives us. Refunds are not allowed just because the ground is wet or muddy.  It’s a farm and the event is outdoors so maybe wear appropriate shoes that can get dirty.

Not responsible for injuries. Adult supervision required at all times.

NOTE: By purchasing tickets online or at the gate you acknowledge and accept all policies, terms and conditions set forth online or at the farm.  Including but not limited to any and all health related issues that you may acquire while here.
